Crisis Communications Workshop- Summer Networking and a Ball Game MEMBER RATE
This event will be a spectacular afternoon/evening as attendees will gain first hand skills during an initial Crisis Management 101 talk from Chris Lukach, President of Anne Klein (AKCG).
He will site real life healthcare crisis situations and how his group handled them.
Attendees will break up into small groups to solve a hypothetical crisis at a hospital which will then be discussed and reviewed by the group before the end of the educational session.
There will be time to network before dinner and a ball game. The event will be held in the Trenton Thunder "Yankee Club".

2:30-3:00 Registration
3:00-3:15- Welcome and Intro: Mike Slusarz, President of HPMSNJ
3:15-4:00- Part One: Reputation Management in the Attention Deficit Age. Opening review of crisis communication fundamentals. Methodologies for communication with urgency. This will be a foundation building session.
4:00-4:45- Part Two: Scenario Based Exercise. Attendees will be presented with a scenario with a walk through” by AKCG.
4:15-5:00- Part Three: A Crisis Communicator’s Self Assessment and Activity. Developing an effective, practical crisis plan. Cultivating a culture of preparedness and overcoming barriers to success. Earning support and buy in from senior leadership and a “seat at the table”.
5:00-5:30- Review Session, Q&A.
5:30-6:30- Networking
6:30-7:00- Dinner
7:00- Trenton Thunder (AA New York Yankees) vs Hartford Yard Goats (AA Colorado Rockies)
