As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve and our industry moves through a dynamic transformation, the Healthcare Planning & Marketing Society of New Jersey enters 2018 with a commitment to enhance the value of our association to our members and the sponsors who support us.
For over 30 years our association has advanced our profession by providing policy forums, educational programs, networking opportunities, information sharing and regulatory input on a variety of legislative issues as well as recognizing the best campaigns in health care planning, advertising, marketing and public relations through our PeRCy awards. We will continue the legacy in 2018.
We finished 2017 on a very positive note at our annual meeting, where Richard Miller received our Special Achievement Award and delivered an inspirational keynote address. During the event, we also honored the 2017 PeRCy award-winning healthcare campaigns.
In 2018, we plan to build on that foundation by providing a variety of programs and webinars focusing on digital marketing, customer relationship management, value-based healthcare, outpatient planning strategies and our PeRCy awards program. We are also committed to communicating with our members more often this year about our programs and networking events by using multiple marketing channels as well as enhancing the website experience for our members and sponsors. Finally, we are pleased to announce that in 2018 the Healthcare Planning & Marketing Society of New Jersey is now a formal Chapter of the Society of Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD). Through this partnership our members will be able to access a variety of SHSMD programs and unique benefits even if they are not a SHSMD member. Such as discounts to SHSMD U online courses and free webinars offered on monthly bases through their educational platform. We are very excited about our plans for 2018 and are looking forward to an outstanding year. If you are already a member thank you for your support! If not consider joining one of the oldest, most trusted and valuable healthcare membership associations in the country.
