Education/Professional Development Committee The HPMSNJ Education Committee works to present informational sessions and networking events for society members. Programs include half and full-day education sessions featuring national and local speakers; meet n’ greet events highlighting a relevant health care topic with a focus on networking and local best practices; and other educational sessions throughout the year.

External Affairs Committee The External Affairs Committee monitors proposed legislation and regulations that are of particular interest to the Healthcare Planning and Marketing Society of New Jersey membership. Significant legislative and regulatory changes that impact healthcare planning and marketing are analyzed for their impact on the health care industry.
The External Affairs Committee serves as a liaison between HPMSNJ and the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) for updates on recent and anticipated developments in the areas of Licensing, Certificate of Need and Hospital Inspections, Compliance and Enforcement.

PeRCy Award Committee The PeRCy Award was developed in 1984 to recognize excellence in health care planning and marketing in the state of New Jersey. Every year we solicit submissions from healthcare facilities across the state, as well as, their marketing partners. In 2016 we have ten categories of excellence. This committee reaches out to healthcare institutions to solicit submissions through mailings, phone, and social media. They also judge and select the winners.

Sponsorship Committee The HPMSNJ Sponsor Committee endeavors to identify organizations that share an interest and have expertise that can assist society members and fulfill their professional responsibilities to their organizations and communities.
Sponsorship is envisioned as a win-win for both members and sponsors by aligning member needs with sponsors' expertise. Sponsor involvement is critical for the continued growth of HPMSNJ and recruitment of new members.
