Description: Meeting with the NJDHSS staff including the Director of CN and Healthcare Facility Licensure and staff and the Director or a representative of the Assessment & Survey team. In addition, representatives from the New Jersey Hospital Association, Hospital Alliance of NJ and NJ Council of Teaching Hospitals are generally present. HPMSNJ members are invited to attend or to submit agenda topics. Minutes are made available to members in good standing following the meetings.

Topic: Strategies for Successful Service Lines: The Impact of Advanced Imaging Technologies on Planning and Marketing
Time: All day event followed by opportunity to attend minor league baseball game
Location: Trenton Thunder Waterfront Park Conference Center
Description: Even in times of financial challenges and the decline of many capital budgets, diagnostic imaging technologies improve and the demands for these services increase. Thus, the planner and marketing professional must have both an understanding of what is new and how existing imaging technologies could provide improved patient care for their referring physicians. We will look, not only at imaging technology, but methods to plan and implement improved competitive services within your market. Speakers will come from hospitals, imaging center companies, marketing companies, providers of data and strategic planning, manufacturer of diagnostic imaging equipment and funding sources.

This all day session will provide a review for some and an introduction to new imaging technology for others as well as providing new insights into what is driving technology acquisition decisions in a challenged economic climate.
